Deborah Duke is the founder and a principal member of DMA Leadership, LLC where she takes an active role in Sales Strategy and Marketing as well as Executive Business Advisory to her clients and partners. Her passion is to build a leadership practice dedicated to helping business owners overcome obstacles and execute their vision. Dukes main initiative is to provide the leadership guidance needed to promote extraordinary teamwork within an organization.
She has extensive experience in Sales, Marketing, Organizational Development and Management (MAOM) B2B Sales, Brand Marketing, Media Placement, Executive Coaching, Leadership, Team Building, and Training Development. Duke holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from Spring Arbor University graduating in 2006, at the top of her class with a GPA 3.89. She also holds degrees in Marketing, Advertising, and Organizational Development. Duke is accredited through the Institute for Independent Business as a senior business advisor. Her accreditation allows her to draw on the expertise of over 4000 business professionals around the world on behalf of her clients. The network provides feedback and advice on a number of business issues related to the small to medium size (SMEs) business sector.
She joined the Telecommunications industry as an Account Executive for Buckeye CableSystem in advertising sales where she exceeded expectations and was promoted to Advertising Sales Manager. She was finally promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing where she retired after 11 years of service. Dukes career also included a short stint with Comcast where she hired and coached the new sales team to successfully launch cable services in retailers such as Best Buy, Circuit City and Radio Shack.
Some of Dukes accomplishments include the "Most Improved Sales Performance Award" for three consecutive quarters from Comcast for having the most improved sales teams.
As an entrepreneur, she was recognized as one of four top producers in the nation for her home based business and was awarded the title of The Fabulous Four for her accomplishments.
Duke is also the founder and co-owner of Duke Investment Properties, dedicated to providing affordable housing in the Toledo area.
Duke's professional affiliations includes: The Ohio Cable Telecommunications Association (OCTA), the Advertising Club of Toledo, the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM) and the Toledo Chamber of Commerce.
